All too often we forget about the presence of magic in our lives, making our every day heavier than it needs to be. So as much for you as for me, this blog is meant to remind us that magic, in all shapes and sizes, is very much alive--and that sometimes all we have to do is just tweak our vision a bit to recognize it.
This reminds me (and we never know how the mind operates or why or how) of a trip I took a million and two years ago to Hawaii. I found myself mind sweeping for the memories of that trip. It was a celebratory trip, husband had outwitted death, family was intact, and we all found ourselves on a beach. I love this photo, and for your subliminal reminder that life is amazing.
Linny...didn't see the pixie but I know thats just because I was with friends. I *did* hear faint giggles, though. I'm just not sure from whom they came!! OoOo...what fun to dream that picture up!
BRENDA! I LOVE it that you got 'life is amazing' out of this! It really IS, isnt it?! And in ways we dont typically think, either! We have to remind ourselves to step outside our comfort zones, to see beyond the cloud cover and through the invisible mist to the magic, no? And when we do, suddenly the sting of life dissolves like a happily-sucked, lovely flavored butter mint....! Weeeee!
Brynne, now this is what I call a magic door!I imagine this would make for the coolest club houses ever! The tea parties we could have! And the absolute perfect place for hide and seek! Suddenly I'm transported to that space in the tree and I feel like anything is possible! :)
