Wednesday Wish (16)....in partial:(

A Note To Brynne's Faithful Readers:

Miss Brynne has a particularly ugly flu bug this week, and as much as she is trying to get herself to write your Wednesday Wish tonight, I, Miss Bubble Gum, am here to inform you that I do not, in fact, expect my sick friend to succeed.

I, Miss Bubble Gum, offered to give you a partial on the Wish for this week, and thankfully, Brynne agreed. You see, she has the whole wish all mapped out in her heart, just hasn't been able to sit at the computer long enough to write it all down in little black and white letters. It makes her head hurt too much and since the whole family is sick too, there isn't anyone else but me to assist.

So...your Wednesday Wish (due to be filled out in its entirety later this week), is to go to the store and buy some old fashioned Bubble Gum. Not Trident or Juicy Fruit or any of those skinny, measly little things but the sugar laced, fat chunks of pink that kids love the absolute most. And for a good reason, I might add...we taste good and make giggle monsters out of even the angriest of faces. So, get your Bubble Gum, put in at least one whole pack (no mistake...the entire pack) and let your teeth go! Then, when it's good and sloppy and you feel the sugar starting to work its magic, blow Bubbles like you used to when you were a sugar-happy kid! Blow them BIIIIG and make a mess on your face. Blow them HUUUUGE and make your neighbor wonder about your sanity. Blow them over and over again, and watch your day be touched by a simple pack of yes, Bubble Gum.

One last note: There is a story behind this. Please come back soon to read it. Brynne would be sad if I took all her weekly fun away. She does so love to share her Wish with you every week and can't wait to tell you the rest of her Bubble Gum story.

Happy Bubbling!

Sincerely,
Miss Bubble Gum

I came by to visit your blog because we follow each other on Twitter. What a delight! I do a weekly blog recommendation every Thursday and plan to let my readers know about you tomorrow. Your writing, and your attitude, are exquisite.

Feel better!

Hugs and feel better soon. I am not a good sick person, and impressed you manage to share this much. The Wednesday wish is a favorite. If I lived by the sea I would be stopping by with yummy teas.

my dear, dear Brenda....thank you, kind heart. I will drink a cup of tea and pretend it is from you. That will make me smile and besides, bugs don't like smiles, you know:) Thank you for your kind words and thoughts. I love you.

First of all, get well Brynne. I can’t stand for my fun friend to be sick :-( It makes me feel too sad. Healing wishes and TLC en route, and hugs too.

And Miss Bubble Gum, no siree, no Trident or Juicy Fruit or any of that skinny stuff. Is Bazooka okay? With the cartoons?

Thank you, my dear FUN friend, Debra!!:) And don't fret too much! I am already back to my happy-idea Self even if I am still blowing my nose! I feel like I sat down for a second so I could run my next few marathons with even greater spirit than the last ones... so look out world, here she comes!!

And Bazooka is ok...but only because it has cartoons! Is there a new Bazooka now? A fat kind? I miss the old stuff! Can you still get it?? And if you do find it and use that then you gotta unwrap a lot to get a big enough bubble. Which is perfect because then you have a lot of cartoons so you will be giggling even before you start blowing!! Whoever thought of cartoons and bubble gum was brilliant as far as I'm concerned. Brilliant!! Story coming soon to back up Miss Bubbles silly letter! I love you, FUN friend Debra!

Oh Brynne, so sorry to hear you & yours are feeling icky! This week went by in a blink of an eye - but you've been on my mind the enter time. Told perfect strangers at the post office about you today. Sending you lots of warm wishes & hopes you'll all be feeling much better very soon. I'm going to partake in my Wednesday wish tomorrow - we'll see if I can still blow the biggest bubbles in the valley. Hugs!

Brynne, please tell me you're on the road to recovery, friend! It makes me sad that you're not well. :( I hope and pray you get better soon! And Ms. Bubblegum, I'll be using Bubbleyum, the pink one, for this experiment. I trust that meets with your approval. :)

Bubbleyum used to be my favorite, Bella! I think its changed now but the old flavor...oOoOoo!! YAY that you will be having fun with it!! Lucky girl!!

I am getting better. Wow, this thing really knocked me out! Still not all the way well but at least we feel soOo much better! First day out my neighbor commented on how tall my little girl was. I told her we had been sick for about 2 weeks, that if anything, she shrunk! She shook her head. Shrunk? Nope, the opposite! She must have been really sick, she said, that's why she grew so much. All kids grow like weeds when they are sick, she said. Didn't you learn that in the USA? I told her I didn't.

I love living in different places around the world...there are so many neat things to learn! If I didn't leave home I never would have learned this week that being sick comes with life time benefits! Hooray!:)
