Somewhere, in the lull of your wander or the elbow of your afternoon, it’s there. Maybe buried, maybe twisted into a bundle like a paper crumpled in the bin, but it’s there. I promise you that. It follows you like a shadow, like a memory, like a story awaiting its turn. It’s your morsel of juicy, your smidgen of heaven-light, your moment of truth. And it’s all yours, only yours, forever just You.
Some days my moment of truth visits me as a scent. Once it
wafted in on the back of a breeze. No forest breathes out butter cream. That
was when my smile cracked and my eyes sparkled just a little bit more, and I
began to ask the questions. The questions that would uncover more of my truth’s
answers.
Other days my morsels of juicy pretend they are flavors or
disguise themselves in people or even show up in art. You know the moments…when
you ooOo over that special taste or want to swim in those eyes or crawl into
that world made of paint inside a simple wood frame. They are the moments that
feel good and right with a twist of magic squished in between. And they
are…magic…because they are your moments of truth. All yours, only yours,
forever just You.
You see, when you distill yourSelf down to the ticking inside your
core, you find a pureness of life and love that begs you to sit awhile, to
enjoy the peace and being-ness of your purest Self.
It tells you who you are.
It reminds you what you love
And shows you where to walk.
Like a raft in a rough sea
Or a puff of cloud
On a blank blue sky
It will save you.
Sense it.
It is there.
It’s your You.
And it is pure love.
And it is pure love.
I promise you so.

My daily work in social services still numbs me. I spent today in training on commercially exploited youth. A child, our children, sold and tortured over and over again and again. And IF they have a moment of escape, they face a journey of fighting the authentic self with the survived persona. I wish freedom for each one of them...and when they reach physical freedom...I wish this very moment you speak of is found for them again...and again..true self..strength..breath..love...pure peace for each of them...again and again... thanks for spreading the peace air Brynne...
What a beautiful, beautiful human being you are. Thank you for caring as you do and at such a heart-wrenching cost. You say you are numbed by it all, but I am not sure that is the case. When I try you on, you seem to walk through the heart of things and to come out the other side stronger, wiser, and with a clearer, deeper understanding of what it is to be love. Your Wish is now mine...for our children. But my Wish is also for you. For you to give yourSelf the deep and vulnerable love that you also share with those around you. Receive, dear angel. We cannot give what we do not have. And? Thank you for being here with me. I am behind you. And am grateful.
To sit and enjoy the peace and stillness within is where I too have found my real sense perception. Let the white wave of peaceful silence wash in. Then all of a sudden those juicy morsels of Love are everywhere, in everything. If we choose to receive them that is :).
Hi there, you gave me your card yesterday at a local gas station. I've enjoyed reading your writings and thought I'd like to talk to you a little bit more. Please contact me when you can. lisatorrez@gmail.com Thank you for your kind words.
Hey Brynne,

I hope all is well with you...btw what ever happened with the house that you went to a year or two ago?
SOoo happy to hear from you, Lisa! You drew me in...thank you for being open to me! Love and hugs from afar! Hope to connect again soon!
Michael!! Yayy YOU! I have missed you! Will come play on your blog soon! We (my 5 year old and I) just drove across country to Maine! So the little house we lived in on our island West of Seattle sits vacant now. But a sweet home over here...is filled with new love:) Happy summer, bright spirit!
Your 'real sense perception'. I love that. What wise thought-feeling words come from you, dear Tim. You feel so open to receive all the love that is yours:) Thank you for being and sharing your beautiful Self! I am better because of you.
Thank you Brynee! Love you - xoxx! -Jessie
Love you, too, dear Jessie:)
I love Maine! We visited last year and it was fantastic. Are you anywhere near Boothbay Harbor? We rented a cabin in a small community called Ocean Point. It was wonderful. Your move is Maine's gain and Seattle's loss!
I think we are a few hours from Boothbay Harbor...we are just outside of Portland, but still not far from the ocean and goodness...it's lovely here! I am in heaven!! SoO glad to know you love it, too, dear Michael! Be sure to let me know if you pass this way again!! I'd love to hug you in person!
